Cranley Escarpment is a Bushland Reserve area located 2 McDougall Street, Cranley with frontages to Reserve Road and Bedwell Street. Upgrades have been scheduled by Council to meet local park recreation standards with the design and implementation of a local activity node to activate and enhance this park area.

Local Recreation Park standards include minor embellishment that provide opportunities for social interaction, play, and casual recreation experiences to residents within walking distance.

Elements that can be considered as part of a local recreation park include:

  • Nature play elements
  • Flat kick about area
  • Seating / tables
  • Pathways (for pedestrian and cyclists)
  • Landscaping

Please note, improvement works proposed for this location will not include facilities normally provided in a District Recreation Park area (e.g. toilet, BBQ, car parking etc.).
