Council has grants up to $5,000 available to local community organisations or groups that can demonstrate the coordination of funds in drought declared communities to deliver a range of local community events and activities. Funding will be allocated to applications that demonstrate the organisation/management of a community event or activity that encourages and assists community interactions, inclusiveness and promotion of community connectedness, social well-being and increase access to support services.

Community drought support grant applications must be lodged by 29 September 2017.
