Toowoomba Regional Councillors enjoyed time out in the region on Friday, 21 July. Cr Cahill visited Hampton and Crows Nest; Cr Glasheen and Cr O’Hara Sullivan visited Bowenville and Jondaryan; and Cr McDonald, Cr O’Shea and Cr Ramia enjoyed the hospitality of residents at Haden and Goombungee.

Councillors engaged with locals giving the community an opportunity to have their say. Matters raised on the day included changes to TransLink bus services across the region, a request to review the Goombungee Public Library Hours, the increased need for a dump point to be installed at Goombungee and the impact of traffic on Jondaryan- St Ruth Road at Jondaryan due to the increased use by heavy vehicles when the Warrego Highway is closed.
