With the opening of the Cecil Plains gym in Henry Stuart Russell Park on Sunday, more than two years of effort has paid off. The Cecil Plains Lions Club has worked hard to put together this tribute to the 2017 Lions International 100 years of service and the Australian 70 years of service. The Lions are most grateful to the Queensland Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund, Toowoomba Regional Council and the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal for joining with the Lions to provide such a valuable health incentive. Already the reports are that it is well used and we encourage everyone to come on down to the park and test it out.
