Queensland Day celebrations filled the Toowoomba Library Civic Square on Sunday 4 June. Councillors Paul, Geoff, Anne, Carol, Nancy, Bill and Megan enjoyed the morning celebrating the day on which Queensland became its own self governing colony. The Councillors in attendance spoke to a number of residents and visitors to the region, led the celebrations in song with the singing of The Sunshine State before cutting the Queensland Day celebration cake which was shared among attendees. Thank you to all those who attended and for those who engaged with Council to give constructive feedback and words of encouragement to Councillors and staff alike.
