Tapping the Money Tree - Grant Writing Workshops

3 August 2018

Toowoomba Regional Council is proudly supporting the community by running several free grant-writing workshops in September around the region. The Tapping the Money Tree grant-writing workshops aim to assist not-for-profit community groups and organisations in sourcing and applying for external grants. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to receive guidance and feedback during the day as they begin to write a real grant application if they have an idea of what their project will be and where they want to apply to or they can just learn tips and tricks about grant applications.

Workshops will be held on:

• 11 September, Pittsworth Function Centre (42 Hume Street)

• 13 September, Goombungee Customer Service Centre (89 Mocatta Street)

• 15 September, Level 3, Toowoomba City Library (corner of Herries and Victoria Streets)

The workshops will be held from 8.45am to 5pm with lunch provided. Spots are limited, so interested community groups will need to RSVP by contacting Council on 131 872. Please note: one person per committee/group only. RSVPs close on Tuesday, 28 August 2018.
