Grant Writing Workshops 2018

Toowoomba Regional Council proudly supported the recent “Tapping the Money Tree” grant writing workshops which were conducted on 11, 13 and 15 September 2018. There were 46 participants representing a variety of groups and committees at the Pittsworth, Goombungee and Toowoomba workshops.

The workshop covered all the important aspects of a successful grant application, ranging from where to start looking, how to properly plan, the general tips for the writing and presentation. Council encourages participation in such events to strengthen communities’ ability to successfully apply for grants. The positive feedback received from the free workshops will ensure the program continues in 2019.
