Cecil Plains/Millmerran Australia Day Celebrations

Join us at the Millmerran Lions Park, Mary Street, Millmerran at 7.30am for a nice hot breakfast.

Our local Australia Day Rewards Ceremony will commence at 9am followed by lots of fun games and activities.

Morning tea will be served at 11.00am and the celebrations will finish at 11.30am.

Join us at Goombungee Hall, King Street, Goombungee from 8am - 10:30am for the Goombungee Australia Day Celebrations. Entry is free to all.

A free breakfast will be available from 8am with formalities starting from 9:30am, including the National Anthem, Australia Day Prayer, guest speaker Mr Graeme Motley and the Australia Day Awards.

Highfields Australia Day Celebrations 2020

Come along to the Highfields Australia Day Celebrations at the Highfields Pioneer Village, 73 Wirraglen Rd, Highfields.

Celebrations start from 9am through until 5pm. Activities and demonstrations include Country Music Entertainment, Milking the Cow, separating and making the butter, Working Draft Horse Display, Sheep Shearing, Tours of the Toowoomba Fire Brigade Museum, Farmer's Ingenuity Show, Family Games, Wheel Tyring at the Blacksmith's Shop and much more.

Official Awards Ceremony for Australia Day will be at 2pm. 

Free Billy Tea and damper will be available from 3:230pm - 5pm

Entry is free from 1:30pm unless otherwise signed.

Pittsworth Australia Day Celebrations 2020

Come and celebrate Australia Day with us at the Pittsworth Pioneer Historical Village from 7am until 12pm.

There will be free entertainment with breakfast from 7am, Aussie events from 8am, Australia Day ceremony and Awards Presentation from 9am, then Billy kart races and cross cut saw competition from 10am.

9:50am - Community Entertainment by Toowoomba Repertory Theatre Society, Darling Downs Revue & Toowoomba Caledonian Pipe Band
11am - Topp Gear to perform a variety of 50's Rock 'n' Roll country tunes & Australiana at its best
12 noon  close. Rock climbing wall, big slide, jumping castle & train, flag tattoos, snow cones, fairy floss, tea & lamington cake sales by Girl Guides, free sausage sizzle a& ice creams.

Farm Household Allowance Information Session - Clifton

Farm Household Allowance is a payment to help farmers and their partners facing financial hardship.

Come along to our information session to learn:
- who's eligible
-how to create a myGov account and claim online
- what documents you'll need and how to lodge them
- what support is available

Where: FE Logan Hall, Tooth Street, Clifton QLD 4361
When: 5th June 2019 10am - 2pm

Case Officers on the day will help with:
- All Farm Household Allowance (FHA) claim enquiries and claim assistance
- Explain process of applying for FHA, eligibility & payment enquiries
- MyGov set up & rural support referrals if needed.
