Council is inviting residents and businesses to have their say on parking.

The existing Toowoomba City Centre Car Parking Strategy was implemented in 2019 to address requirements at the time but since then there have been changes in population, business activities and transportation patterns.

As a result, Council is now looking to develop a Toowoomba Region Parking Strategy that will aim for the best use of parking to support the Region's economic success while maintaining levels of accessibility and turnover of car parking.

The aim is to develop a more efficient, user-friendly and sustainable system that meets current and future needs.

To do that, we need your help.

Please share your thoughts on parking by taking the Central Traffic Area and/or the Regional Townships survey below.

This will tell us how you use parking across the Region and help us to make improvements.

You can also drop a pin on the maps on this page to show your parking preferences and where you experience parking issues in the Central Traffic Area.

Feedback closes 4pm on Friday, 13 December 2024.

There will be an opportunity for the community to review and comment on the draft Parking Strategy in early 2025.
