We're upgrading Thiess Park in Luck Street, Darling Heights. Thiess Park incorporates Thiess Park north (Robindale Drive / Eucalyptus Drive), Thiess Park central (Luck Street / Smart Drive) and Thiess Park south (Hanley Street / Rosenstengel Street). The map below shows these park areas (click images to enlarge).
The project aims to improve recreational facilities within Thiess Park. These recreational facilities may include features such as playgrounds, landscaping, pathways, picnic facilities and other support facilities which encourage people to visit and stay longer in this park.
New master plans for these parks were endorsed by Council on 12 August 2020. Please note, any proposed future upgrade works will be subject to available capital funding and Council priorities.
