The Toowoomba Railway Parklands Priority Development Area (PDA) was declared on 12 December 2014 by the State Government at the request of Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC). The declaration recognised the value of the site as a key urban renewal area and economic development opportunity.

Consultation on this project has now concluded. Toowoomba Regional Council appreciates the comments received and thanks you for your time and effort.

The Draft Development Scheme has now been submitted to the State Government for them to consider for adoption.

The Toowoomba Railway Parklands PDA Proposed Development Scheme is on public notification from 14 September 2015 to 27 October 2015, providing the public with the opportunity to view the proposed scheme and lodge a submission. Submissions should be made clearly in writing and include the submitter’s name and contact details and a description of any issues of concern or support.
