Toowoomba Regional Planning Scheme Amendment No. 20 and Amendment to Planning Scheme Policies 5 and 6

Council is proposing to amend the Toowoomba Regional Planning Scheme (TRPS) and Planning Scheme Policies No. 6 and 7.

Amendment No.20

The following changes are proposed under Amendment No. 20:

  • changes to when excavating and filling within a rural zone for water storages associated with the use of a premises for a rural activity is assessed by Council
  • zone changes to reflect specific property matters Variation Approvals, logical extensions of existing land uses and approved Council masterplans
  • amendments to improve the design of driveway crossovers, particularly commercial driveway crossovers
  • amendments to the list of heritage places so that it aligns with the State Heritage Register and amendment to the Heritage Overlay
  • the introduction of a Transport Noise Corridor mapping layer.

  • emailing your electronic submission to: info@tr.qld.gov.au, Attn: Chief Executive Officer, Toowoomba Regional Council.

For a submission to be properly made it must:

  • include the name and address of each person making the submission
  • state the grounds of the submission and the facts and circumstances relied on in support of the grounds
  • unless made electronically, be signed by each person making the submission (where submitted in hard copy.
