Council is pleased to advise of progress made for the construction of the Millmerran Aquatic Centre, which includes a new 50-metre pool.

The contractor, Taylor Builders has completed the footings for the pool allowing for the construction of the concrete slab as part of the pool shell to commence. These are both critical items to the overall program.

In the coming weeks we are looking forward to the plumbing for the new pool systems being installed.

With the above-average rain forecast for Spring and Summer, the team is doing everything possible to minimise delays to the program with completion still anticipated for the first half of 2023. We hope to provide more detail on an expected completion date as more construction milestones are achieved over the coming months.

• Energy-efficient LED lighting
• People with a disability access ramp
• New kiosk building
• New Change rooms
• Covered grandstand and shade areas
• Pool heating
